Iktara and Associates, LLC is a Maryland-based company founded in 2001. Iktara specializes in high-tech consulting and in the development of formal information flow models for complex decision-making enterprises. This includes models for management as well as engineering applications.

Iktara’s core technologies include: (1) tools for simulating complex systems (2) algorithms for efficient archival and retrieval of complex data and (3) visualization tools for navigating and manipulating complex information models in virtual environments.

The Team

Iktara’s founder, Dave Anand, is a very successful entrepreneur with a proven track record. Prior to founding Iktara, he founded TPI in 1978 and served as TPI’s President and CEO. Under his leadership, TPI developed highly complex software systems for DOE, Dod and industry. Before being purchased TPI employed 50 people and was generating revenues of five million dollars annually in 1991.

Dave has consulted widely for both the commercial and government sectors and has also held senior administrative and management positions in the US government, APL/JHU, and the A. J.Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland.
